On 5th March we shall receive a presentation from Mabon Ap Gwynfor, North Wales Manager British Heart Foundation.  Although the British Heart Foundation is the Nations Heart Charity it is also a very local charity and is committed to the well-being of heart patients in Rhyl and the vicinity by funding 3 dedicated heart nurses at Glan Clwyd and providing defibrillators and ECG machines.

The charity will soon be celebrating its 50th anniversary.  In the last 50 years there has been a revolution in cardiac care with thousands of people living today who would otherwise not be with us if it were not for the research, care and education programmes provided by the BHF. It is a startling statistic that 1 in 3 of us are suffering from heart disease and its related illnesses; in other words couldn\'t we all do with some advice and guidance on how to look after ourselves better!

Come along and learn how it can be done and about the good works the charity achieves.
