Chairman Ian Eldred - Clwyd Leisure

I am a member of the Institute of Leisure and Amenity Management. A steering group member of the Rhyl Athy Regeneration project, representing the business sector.

Professionally, I am presently the Chief Executive & Company Secretary of Clwyd Leisure Limited, a not for profit, company limited by guarantee. I was formerly a Leisure Services Officer with Denbighshire County Council. I was responsible for developing the trust option as a means of securing the future management of tourism and leisure related services by way of externalisation.

Clwyd Leisure was incorporated in April 2001, and has since traded successfully attracting significant investment, over £1.75 million, and having developed the services to include the establishment of new facilities.
