Have I Got Network News for You


Businesswomen in Denbighshire are invited to share their experiences in the world of business at a networking event that's being themed around the 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' panel format.


The Network She event is a great opportunity for attendees to hear from two local successful businesswomen and network with a wide range of new and old contacts.


The event is being arranged by Network She, in partnership with Denbighshire County Council's Area Regeneration and Investment Unit and will be held at Ruthin Castle on Thursday, September 18th at 6.30pm.  The Event is Free.


The evening will being with a reception, followed by presentation.  Delegates will then have the chance to speak with others and view exhibitions from current Network She members.  Men are also welcome to attend the event.


Network She is the only initiative of its kind targeted specifically at women who mean business.

Rhyl Business Group Next Business Breakfast is due to be held on Thursday 18th September 2008 at Elwy Hall, Grange Road, Rhyl at 8am.


Presentation by Cefndy Healthcare;


Rhyl based manufacturer Cefndy Healthcare is key host employer for the Department of Work and Pensions Workstep Programme contracted to Denbighshire County Council.  This programme is called 'Workstep'.


WORKSTEP provides job support to disabled people in the UK; people who face more complex barriers to getting and keeping a job, but who can work effectively with the right support.


WORKSTEP it enables eligible disabled people to realise their full potential to work within a commercial environment, giving then, whenever possible, an opportunity to progress into open employment.  The programme also offers practical assistance to employers.


The presentation will focus on the local Denbighshire programme, the Cefndy Healthcare "Experience" (80% of Cefndy's workforce are on the programme), current Vacancies and how employers can be "positive About Disabled Employment".


It is also hoped that contributions will be made to Pengwern College, Job Centre Plus and Scout Enterprises.


A small charge of £3 for members and £5 for non-members is required.
